Am trying to set up a sample spring-mvc helloworld program with maven. I did search for all the answers available in the forum but couldn't get the answer. Below is the error am getting in dispatcher-servlet.xml

On your dispatcher servlet, beans defination is not present. So add below on your beans declaration--

Also, you need to give beans xsd version in schemalocationlike below,
