I want to be able to display the route between two user-definedgeographical points using the Google Maps APIfor Android. I also want to be able to let the user choose what type of route to display, whether it be walking, cycling, car etc. Additionally, I want to be able to calculate the time and distance it would take to use this route. I've tried searching the web and looking at other stackoverflow questions, but to no avail. How would I go about this? How would I be able to codethis.

Try the Google Directions API. It's a web service, which gives turn-by-turn guides in JSON-Format with all information to get from point A to B by car, transit or your feet.
