The official way to pronounce “MySQL” is “My Ess Que Ell” (not “my sequel”), but we do not mind if you pronounce it as “my sequel” or in some other localized way.
“MySQL”的官方发音方式是“My Ess Que Ell”(不是“my sequel”),但我们不介意您将其发音为“my sequel”或其他本地化方式。

My is the name of Monty Widenius' first daughter, pronounced (roughly) "mew", followed by S-Q-L (ess-cue-ell).
My 是 Monty Widenius 的第一个女儿的名字,发音(大致)“mew”,后跟 SQL (ess-cue-ell)。

I've always heard My Sequel
我一直在听我的续集
回答by Marjan Venema
I'd vote for My Sequel as well, especially as SQL has been around a long time and has always been pronounced as Sequel. However, though Wikipedia is not as factual as it c(sh)ould be, in this case it is probably right as even the official MySQL about pagerefers to this Wikipedia pagefor historical information. So I'd say your best bet would be to go with My-S-Q-L.
我也会投票给我的续集,特别是因为 SQL 已经存在很长时间并且一直被称为续集。然而,尽管维基百科并不像它应该的那样真实,但在这种情况下,它可能是正确的,因为即使官方MySQL about 页面也引用了这个Wikipedia 页面以获取历史信息。所以我会说你最好的选择是使用 MySQL。

It's one of those dumb religious questions that gets people needlessly annoyed with each other. Personally I think of SQL as being pronounced ess kew ell, but there are lots of people who think of it as "sequel". As Joonas points out, it's "officially" "my ess kew ell", but that's not worth much.
这是那些愚蠢的宗教问题之一,让人们不必要地彼此烦恼。我个人认为 SQL 发音为 ess kewell,但有很多人认为它是“续集”。正如 Joonas 指出的那样,它是“正式的”“我的 ess kewell”,但这并不值钱。
Although I think of SQL as being ess kew ell, when someone writes about MS SQL Server, I always think of it as being "sequel server", because it sounds better that way. :)
虽然我认为 SQL 是 ess kewell,但当有人写 MS SQL Server 时,我总是认为它是“续集服务器”,因为这样听起来更好。:)

Correct pronunciation is My Ess Que Ell(My-S-Q-L). but it really doesn't bother me if anybody says it My Sequel or M-Y-S-Q-L.
正确的发音是My Ess Que Ell(My-SQL)。但如果有人说 My Sequel 或 MYSQL,我真的不介意。
But I don't know if I would get if anyone write My Ess Que Ell.
但我不知道如果有人写我的 Ess Que Ell 我是否会得到。
